The philosophy of ministry concerning On the Way’s role and function within the body of Christ is found in Acts 2:42-47, where the practical living of the gospel is demonstrated in a constant seeking of, and living the teachings of our Lord through the process of Relational Leadership.
God is known throughout the scriptures as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jehovah God established his “tent’ in the midst of his people that he would dwell with them. We believe that our Lord Jesus led, taught, and ministered through personal relationships.
He gave us the ultimate example of relational leadership through his relationships with those who most intimately followed him. In Matthew 28:18-20 Christ gives us the mandate to imitate him in the disciple-making process.
It is our belief that as leaders, and in the power of the Holy Spirit, we are to make leaders by making disciples.
We believe that the family unit is designed by God to be the most important and vital element that keeps societies functioning. A strong family unit can be used by God to influence their communities; where they live, work, and play
Through intimacy within the community, servant leadership, genuine relationships, and beauty in all our human differences.
We believe our Lord, Jesus Christ used discipleship as the main approach to transform lives and change the world. With twelve disciples, He changed the course of human history; Christ commands us to “go and make disciples” everywhere.
We believe there is nothing more important than an intimate relationship with The Father, through a personal relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ, and empowered by The Holy Spirit, who brings all glory to Christ and guides every believer to all truth.
We believe excellence honors God and inspires greatness.
We believe that communion with God begins with a life of prayer, and that makes a critical difference in all we attempt to achieve. We are to be a house of prayer for all nations.
Through authentic living, biblical authority, worship, prayer, and spirit.
We believe in equipping the saints for ministry and life by helping them to operate in their spiritual gifts.
